What are Generic Drugs?

When a drug company first invents a drug that company is the only one allowed to make that drug in the same country for a specific number of years. After that period, other companies may do the same drug product. These drugs are called generic drugs. The original drug (eg Viagra), called trademarked drugs.
Brand and generic drugs are IDENTICAL in terms of actual active ingredients. General tablets may look different (because they are made in different company) but inside is exactly the same active ingredients, which operates in exactly the same. The only difference between brand name drugs and generic drugs is that the generic is always much cheaper. Savings up to 80% can be achieved through the purchase of generic drugs instead of namebrand drugs.
Are these the same drugs as the name brand products?
Common medicines, as well as the name brand equivalents are identical. All pharmaceuticals just different recipes common chemical ingredients. Making an exact copy of the pharmaceutical is really quite simple. Generics do not look the same as brand products, even if they have the same active ingredients and work the same way. In addition, the same brand tablets may look a bit different, if the manufacturer is in another country. For example, Celexa 20MG a peach colored tablets in the United States, but Canadian white pills, and less than the pill in the United States. Both pills are Celexa 20MG, both have the same active ingredient, has not achieved the same company. But, for some reason, the manufacturer decided to make the Canadian drugs in different colors.
